Why choose professional prints over DIY from digital files?
Reason 1:
It's just like going to a bakery and ordering a cake. You dream up your perfect cake - the smell, the taste, the look! You go to the bakery, tell them what you want. You wait excitedly for perfection. The day comes, you get the call your order is ready to pick up -YES!! You expect to pick up a the cake of your dreams that's ready to serve, but instead the baker hands you the raw ingredients and says "It's all there, you just have to bake and assemble it!". You're left mad, frustrated and with shattered dreams of that perfect slice of cake to share with your family.
Digital files are the raw ingredients of the photography world - literally, they are called a RAW file. What print artists, our photographers, do with the raw file is the same thing bakers do with their raw ingredients. They create something you are proud to share with your family.
Reason 2:
You don't have time for extra work that should be done by your photographer! Prints made by the photographer saves you time, money, and a lot of stress. Between work and taking the kids every where, downloading files get put off to tomorrow then before you know it it's next week and you still haven't downloaded them. A couple more crazy weeks go by, you finally download them then you have to make time to get them printed. WHERE TO START? Now you have to find time to sit down and find a printer. Is Big Printer online better than Local Superstore? What about that one on TV? You hope you made a good choice. You upload then have to figure out the different sizes. Why is an 8x10 chopping off heads but a 4x6 is ok? You place your order and hope they don't come in with body parts cut off, have a strange color cast, and/or are poor quality. Fingers crossed you didn't waste money.
Reason 3:
Our artists CARE about you, your family, and your heirlooms. Do you really want photos of your family's treasures to be in the hands of a minimum wage employee who *has* to work behind a superstore inkjet printer to handle your heirlooms? Linda and Alisha WANT to print for you. They WANT your heirlooms to be as beautiful as possible and last for generations. They will guide you through the entire process making it incredibly easy.
Dealing with trying to DIY print digital files are stressful and frustrating! All of that stress and worry is completely eliminated when you work with one of our professional artists. Even for professionals, printing a digital file to perfection a skill that takes years to master. It's a skill both Linda and Alisha are experts in.
